Ingredients:
– salmon
– tagliatelle pasta
– bell pepper
– basil
– garlic
– olive oil
– salt and pepper
Boil water on a large pot. Bring a non-stick pan to medium high heat. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter (optional 😋). Place the salmon skin side down after seasoning both side with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes and turn. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente (see directions in the box and subtract 2 minutes). Finish cooking the other side of the salmon for 1-2 minutes and set aside. Add the bell peppers to the same non stick pan you cooked the salmon on and stir. Pour a splash of white wine (optional) over the bell peppers and reduce.
Chop 2 basil leaves and a garlic clove into a large bowl and mix in with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta into the bowl and mix well. Serve with salmon on top and garnish with bell peppers.
